Aug 17, 2010 - I would like to introduce myself, My name is Harry Nelson and I have just become the new Bahrain FIR Chief. Over the next few days the website will be updated with Letters of Agreements and Standing Operating Procedures. I strongly encourage all members of the Bahrain FIR to familiarize themselves with these documents.
Also during the next few weeks, new items will be added to the website, example: Controller Feedback, where the the FIR Chief will get a pilots feedback on the controller. This is to help figure where we need to improve and work on providing the best quality services available.
VATBAH is in a growing period and strives to provide top quality Air Traffic Control for your flying experience within the Bahrain FIR.
The primary controlled airports within our airspace are, Bahrain International (OBBI) and Doha International(OTBD).
